Mission Statement:
Our purpose is the raising and expansion of consciousness in all people. Our Commitment To Our Volunteers? We offer to provide volunteers with hard copy letters of recommendation and personal references on our official Foundation stationary. We also provide references to potential employers on behalf of our volunteers. This is to assist volunteers to gain paid employment and is based on the work that is done, in the service area that is done, in the service area that the work is performed. How do we operate? IAM and the All One Foundation is administered by a number of volunteers who carry out their work from either regional offices or within their own homes. The volunteers rely on computers linked by a remote access network to exchange information, and liaise with other volunteers to undertake their duties. Up to 30 computers are currently accessing the network. Volunteers meet regularly in community based meeting rooms and halls, to receive training and support. They also attend conferences provided by the organisation to further their skills and development. IAM`s interface with the public is handled through regional offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Wagga, Melbourne and Maclean, via Area Coordinators. These Area Coordinators also provide support for the volunteer staff in their area. We are currently implementing an Intranet system that will link us to the Internet and eventually our own Web page, which will extend our interface worldwide. THE ALL ONE FOUNDATION was founded in 1979. It has been a registered non-profit, tax exempt limited company with the NSW Department of Business and Consumer Affairs since March 1987 and is accountable to the Australian Securities Commission. The Foundation`s articles are available for reading at its head office (Avalon) and through Area coordinators outside of Sydney. The Foundation is a tax-exempt organisation and does not pay income tax, it does file tax returns and the books are professionally audited annually. IAM is registered with the NSW Department of Business and Consumer Affairs and is a member of the All One Foundation. IAM, The All One Foundation offers a variety of trainings, primarily making the practise of meditation available to the community. We have no religious philosophy or teachings and are non-dogmatic in our approach. We have offices located in Sydney, Brisbane & Melbourne Some of our trainings are free.
