The Vision of the International Diabetes Institute is to find a cure for, or a means of preventing diabetes and its complications and to provide care to meet the needs of those who have diabetes or are at risk.

Description:
The International Diabetes Institute (IDI) is a Non-profit organisation which has established a global reputation as a centre of excellence in diabetes care, research and education. It is also a World Health Organisation collaborating centre, and is proudly associated with several major universities and centres in Australia and around the world in research, clinical and nutritional studies. The Glycemic Index Testing Service within IDI was launched in 2003 and has become a world leading centre for the provision of food development consulting services in the global fight against diabetes and obesity.
